    Five For Five - KEEP

    Five questions for five flicks

    Featured artist - KEEP

KEEP is a graffiti writer from Sydney. He is a member of INC CREW, He started writing around 2005 and has developed a funky public style that stands out especially if it's on a panel flying past. We caught up to find out a bit more about him and asked for his favorite five flicks.

    1. What got you into graffiti?

Hanging with writers in school days had a run in with some older cunt cuz i didn't write. So to avoid shit later my mate KOFN told me to say i wrote KEEP and i carried on with it.

    4. Do you have a good chase story?

Got a pearler. Did an E2E in Melbourne one Sunday morning. When the boys dropped me off home I opened up my copy of Subway Art's 25th anniversary book that i'd just been given by a mate for my birthday. That photo of Dondi in the aisle inside the front page psyched me up hard. Called the fellas up for round two the same day. Took heaps of Plastis to Flemington and did a mad panel with a Bodé character like one of Dondi's WC's. My mate told me we had like 15 but i was too psyched and carried on with it for about halfa until the gates on the platform flung open and we got stormed.

We smoked the first group of jacks and jumped a fence into this horse stable area where my mate rolled his ankle and couldn't walk. I threw him in the back of a work ute in the stables and closed up the tray so he was locked in and cruised. Another group of jacks came out of nowhere as I was walking somewhere in the racecourse. I left them for dead right near the entrance to the racecourse and jumped out as i saw another 3 jack cars pulling up at the front gate I darted across the road and through a couple houses and came up I think at Ascot Vale station and caught the first train straight the fuck outa dodge. My mate got found by a worker couple hours later and got dropped off at the gate no questions asked.
