LAST RUN MELBOURNE CREWNECK

Size

The Last Run Melbourne Crew Neck pays tribute to Melbourne's iconic Hitachi trains.

First entering service in 1972, the Hitachi fleet became a fixture of Melbourne's suburban network for over 40 years before being withdrawn from service in 2014.

This artwork captures one of the most recognisable versions of the fleet, featuring the green and gold "The Met" era livery that defined Melbourne's rail network throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Printed as a large three-colour greyscale back print, the design depicts a Hitachi under the lights on a wet Melbourne night, surrounded by dark skies, fencing and rail yard details inspired by the final years of these legendary stainless steel trains.

Finished with a small BSP logo on the front and a large statement print on the back.

Printed in-house by BSP.
